During his participation in the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie, and Congolese Abroad, His Excellency Constant Serge Bounda, had the honor of meeting with Ms. Sarah Troutman, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, U.S. Department of State: Bureau of African Affairs.

Their discussions focused on the state and prospects of bilateral relations between our two countries, as well as ways to facilitate travel between our two nations, particularly regarding visa issuance.

They also welcomed the growing interest of American companies in the investment opportunities offered by the Republic of Congo, within the context of the economic diversification efforts championed by the Government.
